Bali Rancang Layanan Kesehatan Gratis 2010

Suasana layanan kesehatan gratis di Dusun Pucang Desa Ban Kecamatan Karangasem pada akhir Juni lalu (Ni Komang Erviani).

Pemerintah Provinsi Bali tengah merancang sistem pelayanan kesehatan gratis bagi seluruh masyarakat di pulau dewata. Pelayanan gratis yang diberi nama Jaminan Kesehatan Bali Mandara itu akan diberikan untuk semua bidang pelayanan mulai dari pemeriksaan, pengobatan, operasi, rawat jalan, dan rawat inap di rumah sakit. “Pelayanan kesehatan gratis akan direalisasikan tahun 2010 mendatang. Kami akan menyiapkan anggaran sekitar antara Rp.250 miliar sampai Rp.300 miliar untuk program ini,” jelas Gubernur Bali Made Mangku Pastika di Denpasar.

Alokasi anggaran untuk program pelayanan kesehatan gratis itu akan diambilkan dari Anggaran Pendapatan Belanja Daerah (APBD) Bali 2009. Untuk mengalokasikan anggaran yang sangat besar untuk layanan kesehatan gratis, kata Pastika, pihaknya akan melakukan efisiensi di berbagai pos anggaran. “Pastinya akan terjadi efisiensi di berbagai hal yang tidak perlu seperti mengurangi perjalanan dinas,” jelasnya. Bali prepares free medical services for 2010

The Bali provincial administration is currently preparing a comprehensive health plan that would provide the island’s residents with free health services by 2010.

Titled Jaminan Kesehatan Bali Mandara, the plan will cover a variety of health services ranging from medical examinations and treatment to medication and surgery.

The movements and meditation performed in Yoga routines can help assist creative pursuits, a workshop on yoga and the arts was told Tuesday by senior dance choreographer Didik Nini Thowok.

Thousands of Tamiflu doses, the WHO recommended drug to combat avian influenza, have reached their expiry dates, a high-ranking official says.

Head of the Bali Health Agency, Nyoman Sutedja, said thousands of Tamiflu were stored neatly in the agency’s medicine depot, and many of them would no longer be useful this year. Read the rest of this entry »


Bali allocates money for extra rabies vaccines

The Bali administration has allocated an additional Rp 875 million (US$74,500) to purchase almost 7,500 rabies vaccines to prevent any shortage of treatments as the outbreak continues.

Head of the Bali Health Agency Nyoman Sutedja said the Bali Provincial Representatives Council (DPRD) plenary meeting agreed to provide more funding to ensure the virus did not spread any further. Read the rest of this entry »


Bali asks for 50,000 more doses of rabies vaccines

The Bali Animal Husbandry Agency has requested a further 50,000 doses of rabies vaccines from the Health Ministry, as it prepares for skyrocketing demand for the drug.

Dana Sehat Si Miskin Diembat

Dana asuransi kesehatan bagi masyarakat miskin, ditilep oknum pegawai Rumah Sakit Sanglah. Nilainya mencapai Rp 2,3 miliar. Rumah Sakit Sanglah dan PT. Askes, tiba-tiba saling menyalahkan.Diduga ada konspirasi.

Ketika mengecek pembayaran klaim asuransi kesehatan masyarakat miskin (Askes Maskin) yang ditransfer PT. Askes ke rekening Rumah Sakit Sanglah, 23 April lalu, Drs I Ketut Nadra MM terkejut. Laporan Askes yang menyebut telah melakukan transfer sebesar 6,7 miliar, tidak ditemukan dalam rekening Bank Pembangunan Daerah (BPD) Bali bernomor 002343-7 atas nama RS Sanglah. Direktur Keuangan Rumah Sakit Sanglah itu hanya menemukan dana sebesar Rp 6,4 miliar. Selisih Rp 300 juta, mengundang tanda tanya besar di benak Nadra. Read the rest of this entry »
